Isn't the command line great? This is my personal command line reference repository. You can browse it below by command, topic, platform or shell.
Back in the 90s, I maintained a UNIX page that included some useful info, but I quit maintaining that by the end of the millenium. Since then I've posted occasional tidbits to my log, but often found myself either googling the same thing over and over again or using ctrl-r and hoping my bash history went back far enough.
Since we are living in the end times of useful search engines, I am creating a new repository to store commands that mostly fall into the category of "useful, but not used often enough to commit to memory".
