The Crested Butte Academy offers a beginner and intermediate level Kayaking, guided by Gunnison County native Torrey Carrol, students can learn how to roll a boat and how to navigate rapids. Torrey is an ACA-certified instructor, and has a great knowledge of the area, so he is an excellent instructor. His wife, Ro is also ACA-certified and an excellent boater.
