This amuses me. I have a PDF which does not allow copying of selected text. This is supposed to be some kind of content protection mechanism, I suppose.

What is allowed, however, is to do a Yahoo search for the selected text. And once I've done a Yahoo search, it is trivial to copy the text out of my web browser instead.

I guess strategic partnerships (or whatever relationship Adobe and Yahoo may have) are more important than content protection.
