Pete's Log: esgerbeast2: now even beastier
Entry #1774, (Coding, Hacking, & CS stuff)(posted when I was 36 years old.)
I got some more hardware for esgerbeast2 today:
- 1 Sapphire Radeon R9 280 3GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
- 4 3TB Western Digital hard drives
The results: Starcraft 2 now recommends all graphics settings at max, and I have a (almost) 9 TB volume (after setting up the motherboard's RAID 5 on the drives).
Additional result: a happy Pete.
Also, I continue to be really happy with the Fractal Design case.
