Pete's Log: JBPA continued

Transferred the beer to the secondary fermenter today. Fermentation had slowed down to the point where no activity was evident in the airlock. I also realized I am out of practice with siphoning. But I think I was successful.
I pulled off a sample as well and gave it a taste. Definitely tastes like fermentation happened and no evident contamination. It's not quite as malty as I hoped for, but I'm cautiously optimistic it will be an OK beer after a little more conditioning.
