Pete's Log: Down The Chicken Hole

Jamie ordered us some accessories for our coop. The first shipment arrived today. So this evening Jamie, JB and I installed a run extension and some handles.

Here's the before shot (with Elsa for scale). The run (including the space under the coop) is about 6 feet long.

It's perfectly adequate for three chickens. But we wanted more space for them. The extension makes the run 9 feet long. It feels luxuriously spacious now. Anna is checking it out.

The handles make it easier to steer when moving the run around the yard.

Hopefully the ladies appreciate it.
