Pete's Log: RIP Anna the Chicken
Entry #2501, (Chickens)(posted when I was 45 years old.)
We lost Anna tonight. She seemed fine when we returned from Colorado, but got lethargic the last few days and had a quick decline.
It's been a while since she stopped laying and she was over two years old (though we're uncertain by how much), so she was into the 2-4 year expected life span for an ISA Brown. Still sad to lose her. She was curious and friendly and I appear to have taken many selfies with her.
She was a good chicken.
